MAINTENANCE TIPS
Our jewelry is delicate and should be treated with the utmost care.
Simple gestures and precautions can be used to preserve all the brilliance and beauty of LUCE jewellery.
First, remember to always remove your jewelry when...
-
Engaging in household tasks to prevent damage from detergents.
-
Participating in physical activities to avoid impact or scratching.
-
Swimming in the beach or pool as contact with sand can dull the surface, and chlorinated water may cause metal oxidation.
Second, remember to store them in their LUCE cases
Systematically store your jewels in their cases (offered at the time of purchase): they will thus be protected from any shock. Avoid accumulating several pieces of jewelery in the same case as they could be scratched by friction or easily become entangled. Do not store your jewelry in the bathroom, the humidity present could cause premature oxidation of the metal.
Third, if it's already too late...
If your jewelry has become tarnished or scratched over time, it can be re-polished to regain its original shine. White gold jewelry may need to be rhodium-plated, that is to say covered with a layer of rhodium (resistant metal from the platinum family) which will allow them to regain shine, color and be protected from future shocks. . If in doubt as to the condition of your LUCE jewellery, we recommend that you stop wearing it and have it observed by a specialist.
By following these guidelines, you can keep your LUCE jewelry in pristine condition for years to come.
